- takes me back in timeSaw this flash on YT and loved the film body style. It makes me feel like the photos I take are from the 1970s. The flash is actually powerful since it’s a direct flash, so you shouldn’t be worried about how strong it is.

- Fun to useThis is a Godox Lux Senior Retro Camera Flash. If they had included Fun in its name it wouldn't need a review. I use it mounted alongside a full-size camera with a wide-normal pancake lens and people react with a smile. Battery life is OK, charges with any 5V USB, controls are definitely retro, and results are pleasing.

- excellent flashThis is an excellent flash that offers beautiful light and most importantly works with vintage film cameras.
However, If you use a telephoto lens as your portrait lens this flash cannot be used since half of the image turns black as the lens creates shadow.
With a lens of 50mm and down this is an excellent flash. It gives out gorgeous beauty dishes like light. If you photograph people this flash is a conversation starter.Posted on
- Compact and easily portableIt is rechargeable. Major plus. It’s GN14 so it’s not a full-on mega flash but it’s usable. Manual settings so learn your distances.
